GOLDEN RETRIEVER CLARA'S SHORT LIFE

As you can see she was a lively puppy, like many others, but a congenital kidney failure is a serious thing. When a dog doesn't enjoy its mealtime as one of its best moments of the day, there must be something wrong coming. She started by skipping the odd meal, then often eating half what she should and, therefore, she began to lose some weight. After that you can guess the rest: Vet, all kinds of tests, hospital and... an untimely death. At least she lived 22 happy months with us and made us all a bit happier, too. Now she's buried with her great-grandmother's ashes (see older posts) in the back garden and some gorgeous pansies are still in blossom on the small grave. Clara loved that garden and she loved the flowers around. There and with them she lives now.
